Reservations:
We are a small bed and breakfast whose policy is to never overbook rooms. We guarantee your reservation. In order to do this we remove your room from inventory and refuse all other requests, so we ask that you please respect our cancellation policy. If you must cancel for any reason, please give us as much notice as possible. If it is more than seven (7) days, there is a $30 charge. If it is within the seven (7) day period, you will be charged 50% of the total reservation.
Holiday weekend reservations or group bookings of three (3) or more rooms require thirty (30) days cancellation notice.
7.1% tax will be added to the total room cost.
For multiple nights your credit card will be charged upon your arrival.
One-night reservations require full advance payment.
One-night reservations on weekends, and weekdays will be accepted also.
We accept Visa and MasterCard.
Check-in:
Check-in time is between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Please indicate if your arrival is after 6:00 PM so we can make special arrangements.
Check-out:
Check-out time is 11:00 AM.
Early check-in or late check-in is available by prior arrangement.
Occupancy:
Occupancy is limited to two people per room. An additional guest is $25 per night. Our couples-oriented facility and Victorian décor is only appropriate for children over
age 12.
We regret that we cannot accommodate pets. Our dog "Freddie" will be happy to be your pet while you stay at THE HURST HOUSE.

A terrific weekend...wish we had another day or two! My husband and I needed a getaway and we found the Hurst House right in our back yard! From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The home is spacious with an amazing attention to detail, yet it is so welcoming. We enjoyed our time downstairs playing pool, never made it to the ping pong table. The Gathering Place up in the 2nd floor was a perfect living room to rest, read and watch tv...the cookies and coffee were a great touch! Our room was perfect and breakfast was wonderful. I enjoyed my walk around the lake out back..watching the swans. Beautiful landscaping. The Hursts truly have the gift of hopsitality and we appreciated the many extra special kindnesses that were extended to us. Breathtaking views, incredible attention to detail in hospitality and architecture of the home, serene setting, beautifully appointed rooms! Staying here was a last minute decision and I was thankful a room was available. My husband and I celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary this weekend here and I dare to say it was more enjoyable than the original place we went on our honeymoon. "A needed weekend getaway"
My husband and I needed a weekend getaway from all the stress of life in March 2009. What a GREAT escape for us. This getaway was perfect. It is in a great area away from all the stress of life. The grounds were well kept, the house was absolutely beautiful, the owners greeted us even though we arrived later than expected. Despite being the only guests there for the weekend they catered to our needs (Thanks for the playing cards!!) and breakfasts were great. Thanks to this weekend we even went and bought a coffee maker just like yours! (in the gathering room). We look forward to returning again. Oh, and let's not forget Freddie!!! What an awesome and smart dog.

Peace and tranquility with a view to die for! Rich and Bert made us feel so welcome in their beautiful home and provided so much information on the local area, we had a wonderful weekend. The rooms are so well designed and extremely comfortable with all the finishing touches anyone could hope for. We hope we have a chance to revisit Hurst House and enjoy American hospitality at it's best.

I have stayed at many Bed and Breakfast, and this is by far the best. The view of the Lake, Farms, streams, and covered bridge are amazing. The B&B is a Victorian Manson on top of a Mountain. The view is like vacationing in the clouds. Rich and Bert Hurst were the best host . If you are planning to stay at any Bed and Breakfast in Lancaster County PA do yourself a favor and stay at the Best. Frank and Debbie Wells
